You deserve a relationship that thrives
And it’s much more achievable when you find the right therapist to journey with you, offering specialized, evidence-based support.
Hi, I'm Sharon.
I'm glad you're
here.
I’m dedicated to supporting you and your partner as you navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and the complexities of modern relationships. Committing to couples therapy is a courageous, collaborative step toward building a more connected, balanced, and fulfilling life together.
My mission is to provide you both with the insights and practical tools needed to heal relational wounds, manage shared overwhelm, break cycles of conflict or disconnection, and thrive as a team through life’s changes. I offer couples therapy through an integrated approach, drawing on evidence-based techniques designed to help partners understand each other’s nervous systems, improve communication, and restore emotional connection and safety. My practice is deeply attuned to the realities of everyday couples navigating an increasingly busy and complex world.
I’ve been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California since 2016 (LMFT #108365). My educational background includes a Master’s degree from Azusa Pacific University, where I focused on integrating personal and relational growth with clinical therapeutic practices.
I am a practicing Christian and am glad to provide faith-based couples counseling upon request, helping partners integrate their shared values and faith into their healing journey as appropriate.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy exploring the natural beauty of the Bay Area with my husband and spending time with our cats, Ares and Athena. I look forward to collaborating with you both to create a path toward the secure, thriving partnership you deserve.
We all need help sometimes
Even the strongest relationships go through tough seasons. Staying in love for a lifetime takes more than good intentions—it takes dedication, practical tools, and intentionality. I help couples move past the hard work of just surviving conflict and give them the roadmap to build a lasting, resilient partnership.
Some of the things I can help with:
Emotional Drift
Entrenched Conflict
Broken Trust
Life Transitions
Pursuer/Distancer Loop
Scorekeeping

We would work well together if you...
-
Are tired of having the exact same argument on loop and are ready to look underneath the surface at what is actually keeping you stuck.
-
Want more than just a passive listener—you want a therapist who will actively guide you, point out your patterns in real-time, and offer concrete tools.
-
Want to shift from being efficient "business partners" managing a household back to being a connected, romantic team.
-
Are navigating a busy, fast-paced Bay Area life and need strategies that actually fit into a demanding schedule.
A strong relationship doesn't just happen by accident. It is built, choice by choice, out of intentionality, mutual safety, and the courage to grow together.

What to expect
01
Schedule your free consultation
Your path starts with a free, 15-minute consultation. This is a low-pressure opportunity for us to connect, discuss what you hope to achieve in therapy, and ensure we are the right fit for your goals. If it feels like a match, we will look at our schedules and set up your initial evaluation session.
02
Understanding your Dynamic
Our first few sessions are about mapping out the history amd landscape of your relationship. We will look underneath the surface of your repetitive arguments to identify your specific patterns (like who tends to withdraw and who tends to pursue). Together, we will pinpoint exactly where your relationship loses traction and establish clear, collaborative goals for our work.
03
Rewire your Relationship Habits
Therapy with me is an active, collaborative process—not just venting about the past week. In our sessions, we will practice real-time tools to lower your nervous system's alarm volume, communicate through differences, and protect your relationship. You will leave sessions with small, practical experiments to try at home to build new relational muscles.
04
Maintenance and Long-Term Growth
As the old cycles fade and mutual safety becomes your new normal, we will begin pacing out our sessions. We will transition from weekly or bi-weekly meetings to monthly check-ins, ensuring the tools you’ve learned are fully integrated into your daily lives. The ultimate goal is to graduate from therapy feeling confident, securely connected, and fully equipped to navigate any future season as a team.
